RIP Graham

It’s with great sadness that we have to announce that Graham Stanley M0LUD passed away last night at home

Graham wasn’t a member of E.A.R.S but he was a very good friend to many and he will be missed by all that knew him.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Not an E.A.R.S event but Nigel M0NJW recently got in touch to tell us about a special event station he is running this weekend.

Nigel will be operating as GB1SAK from the St Annes International Kite Festival at the weekend.

I’m aiming to be active with the kite aerial between 11 and 5 on Saturday and between 11 and 4 on Sunday (clock time). The station details are on QRZ.com. Outside of these times I’ll be using a dipole or a “Bantenna” sleeve antenna, but I’d love to give as many folks as possible the chance to have a kite QSO. I’ll be mostly on 40m and 20m
